Mr. Wu shared the guidelines for master's supervisors from four aspects: orientation of master's training stage, thesis topic selection, thesis control, and ethics of master's tutor. He analyzed how to fulfill the duties of the tutor in every detail to be a qualified graduate student's tutor. Combining his own decades of teaching experience, he put forward three principles: preaching, teaching, and dispelling doubts. He told us that as a tutor, we need to understand students, take targeted measures to teach and impart knowledge to students to solve their puzzles, we need to set out from the role of graduate students and straighten out the position of students in their hearts, and we need to abide by the teacher's moral style and teach by words and deeds.
