On October 23, 2020, the National Engineering Management degree graduate education steering committee issued the notice on the evaluation results of the third batch of master of engineering management and international project management professional qualification certification cooperation units (project management jiaozhiwei Secretary [2020] No. 3). Our university successfully passed the certification and won the third batch of Engineering Management Master's degree (MEM) and international projects together with other 9 universities Project management professional qualification (IPMP) certification cooperation qualification.

International Project Manager Professional (IPMP) is an IPMA four level system implemented by International Project Management Association (IPMA) all over the world Certification, with wide international recognition and authority, is the highest international level of project management qualification certification for practitioners. IPMP divides the qualification certification of project management professionals into four levels, i.e. level a, level B, level C and level D. each level is awarded with different levels of certificates. International companies have taken IPMP certificate as one of the basic requirements for their project management practitioners. In China, IPMP certificate will also be the main reference factor for the quality assessment of project management personnel in China's major enterprises, and will gradually evolve into the basic requirements for project management personnel.

In June 2020, China Certification Committee of international project management professional qualification certification (IPMP) started the application of the third batch of IPMP certification training units. Under the leadership and support of President Du Qiang and vice president Ma Fei, the professional degree education center of the school of economics and management has set up an application group with the office of the professional degree education center and relevant course teachers as the main body. All of us worked together, discussed and revised repeatedly, submitted high-quality and high-level application materials, and successfully applied.

The successful application of IPMP is of great significance to the development of MEM project in our university. This means that all graduates who have obtained the degree of MEM in our university have also obtained the d-level project management qualification of IPMP certification, and there is no written examination when applying for the C-level certification of IPMP. This will undoubtedly greatly improve the attraction of MEM to the majority of candidates. It is of great significance for our university to carry out the certification work related to engineering management degree in the future, improve the level of international education, and cultivate high-level application-oriented engineering management talents.
